Nearby Carmel-by-the-Sea is a charming seaside village with a walkable beach and a downtown filled with great eateries and wine tasting rooms.

Pacific Grove has a stunning coastline with tidepooling and a coastal dunes trail. Lovers Point is a popular beach and park. Asilomar Beach is also beautiful.
