If you are visiting the Monterey peninsula, the 17-Mile Drive is a scenic must-do.

The drive through Pebble Beach features spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, as well as ritzy homes and golf courses.

Although there are 5 gates, most visitors enter the drive at Pacific Grove, and finish the drive at Carmel-by-the-Sea. The drive has 17 marked stops.

The Lone Cypress is arguably the most popular sight along the 17-Mile Drive. It's a photographer's dream!

Crescent-shaped Spanish Bay Beach boasts dazzling white sand and is great for sunbathing and sand play.

Walk the beautiful boardwalk trail at Spanish Bay for expansive views of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy wildflowers in season.

Seal Rock Creek Beach is small but offers soft white sand perfect for a stroll. You may even see the creek meander along the beach as it travels to the ocean.

The ghost trees of Pescadero Point are another popular attraction along the 17-Mile Drive.

The Pebble Beach Visitor Center offers information about the resort.

The 17-Mile Drive is popular year round, but ocean views are best on bright clear days.
